My 6 yr old twins had teeth pulled yesterday (one had 2, the other had 4)(baby teeth..to make room for adult teeth to come in). Anyway, they can't have any tomato/acid foods, no crunchy things, no hard things so I am trying to figure out what to give them for dinner! They had mac and cheese last night, had eggs and biscuits this morning and managed to eat a pb&j sandwith yesterday (no crust on very soft bread).
So, their appetites are ok and the smoothies, yogurts etc are just not cutting it. I'd appreciate any dinner ideas that are kid friendly (although mine do eat salmon, most veggies, eggs, cheese, pasta) and tomato-free (there go all my pasta recipes!!)
Tonight we're having small meatballs and mashed potatoes (had some Ikea sauce packets, so will improvise). I'll probably do some peas since they are soft.
I also thought about thai chicken with pasta (probably cut chicken up very small). After that, I'm kind of stumped (and sleep-deprived!!
TIA for any ideas!
