Hi All. I make honey mutard sauces but I love the honey mustard sauce from KFC. I have used the ingredients listed on their little tubs to try to duplicate their recipe. If you have one similar to KFC or just have a great honey mustard sauce could you please share. Could you include the brands you use. Thanks.

I have never had KFC's honey mustard and don't have a recipe. Everytime I try to mix some up homemade, it doesn't turn out well.

I just buy French's.  I usually get several bottles at once, so I don't run out.

This is from the Outback which they serve with the Alice Springs quesadilla ...  I LOVE it ...  

OUTBACK HONEY MUSTARD

1-1/2 cup mayonnaise

1/4 cup Gray Poupon mustard (no substitution)

1/2 cup honey

Mix all and refrigerate covered for at least one hour ...

This is Chili's copycat recipe and it's pretty good.

2/3 c mayo

1/4 c honey

2 Tab Grey Poupon mustard

1 tea white vinegar

pinch of paprika

pinch of salt

@Reconnaissant @Thanks. I just did  that. The recipes that came up had no mayo or combo of oil and lemon juice or vinegar. KFC's has a mayo in it. I checked Pinterest too. It's out there. I think using some Gray Poupon besides honey and mayo will work. I have to look at the ingredients on the package I have but the letters are so tiny. I think there's sugar in it too.

Ingredients

Ingredient Checklist

• ¾ cup Dijon mustard
• ½ cup mayonnaise
• ¼ cup honey
• ¼ teaspoon ground red pepper
• .13 teaspoon garlic salt

Directions

• Step 1

  Stir together first 5 ingredients. Serve with fried chicken strips.

I've never had the KFC honey mustard, but I HAVE had Cheddar's honey mustard, which is amazing.  This recipe is a perfect dupe for it!

I like KFC's too. Wish I could buy it in 8 oz bottles.
