Re: Need help with cooking a pork half loin in Instant Pot

@qualityshopper,

I do not have an IP, but if I were cooking a pork roast in my electric pressure cooker, I would brown the pork loin first. Cook at least 20 minutes, then check for level of doneness.  My guess is a 5 lb pork roast may need at least 10 minutes more cooking time.   Vegetables cook within 5 minutes under pressure, so you absolutely cannot start them together.

Re: Need help with cooking a pork half loin in Instant Pot

@RedTop--Thanks for the help. What I have is actually a pork half loin (not tenderloin) that weighs 2.26 lbs. I didn't get to cook it tonight as I hoped I would, so maybe tomorrow. I'm thinking I'll cook it 25-30 mins. and then do the veggies. Hope it all turns out OK.
