I had never had Colcannon, until I met you all here, love that, still playing with different recipes, and sauerkraut and sausage over mashed potatoes.........ALL of which I had never heard of mixing together, but now...........I need to know how to make dumplings with a sauerkraut dish..........I have just learned about this now, as I grew up with dumplings, but dumplings that were rolled out thin, and dried for a bit, and then dropped one by one, in hot broth until done.......We never had the big fat "fluffy" dumplings, but I have had them, so I am open for any and every recipe that you have, as sauerkraut is a food group all to its own for me..............
