Need a easy Christmas cookie rescipe

I'm not a great cook but I am learning and I purchased the Kitchen Aid appliances this past summer and would love to make some Xmas cookies, but I need a really easy recipe. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Need a pound cake recipe too, can't tell you how much sugar,flour,eggs and cream cheese I have wasted trying to bake a cake.
