We have a Japanese Plum tree in our yard. The fruit is almost ready to pick. Last year we made jam, or tried to, and it never set real well. I think I didn't read the directions on the pectin correctly. It tasted OK and we used it on ice cream. My husband loved it but for me it was too sweet.
Have any of you made jam from the small plums. They are about the size of Bing Cherries.
