I know I am getting a variety store bought cheesecake as a gift for the holidays but I really loved the one I use to make that was from my mom. I unfortunately lost the recipe. It was very light, very fluffy and you put canned pie filling on the top or fresh fruit. If I am not mistaken it was a no bake one and in a graham cracker crust. I use to put it in an Oreo cookie crust. My DH hates cheese cake or cheese pie but would eat this one for some reason so, if any of you lades know which recipe I am trying to talk about would you please post the recipe. thank you so much.

Here's one that's very easy and good! I got it years ago from a Philadelphia cream cheese label.
Cherry Topped Cheese Pie
Beat together one 8 oz. pkg softened cream cheese and 1/2 cup sugar till creamy. Fold in 2 cups thawed cool whip. Pour into unbaked graham cracker crust. Top with 1 cup cherry pie filling. Chill at least 3 hours before serving.
I always use the whole can of pie filling!

I use this one:
8 oz cream cheese, softened...1 can sweetened condensed milk...1/3 cup lemon juice...1 teaspoon vanilla. Beat together well and pour in crust. Top with cherries.

This is the Junior's Deli Cheesecake recipe I use. It's the very creamy kind. When I make it, it's usually very well received.
I'm not a huge fan of cheesecake, but the best I ever had years and years ago was at a French-style inn in Missouri, which is now sadly gone, and the old inn burnt down and abandoned. (Pond Inn, in Ellisville, MO.) They served it with a lemon glaze on top.
