Need Advice: Using Wolfgang Puck Pressure Cooker to Cook New Potatoes

I need your advice.

For Easter, am hauling out my Wolfgang Puck pressure cooker in order to cook about 2 lbs of new potatoes.

Question:  How much water should I add to the cooker and for how long should I cook the potatoes?

Thanks very much!

Re: Need Advice: Using Wolfgang Puck Pressure Cooker to Cook New Potatoes

Morning sfnative,

I love my pressure cooker and have gone to the library to borrow every book there is about ELECTRIC pressure cooking!  My PC is an Elite from HSN...best $60 investment that I have ever made.  I have made everything you can think of including the pastas....(my DH is Italian).......his favorite is Calamari Fra Diavolo.......

In response to your question, my instruction booklet says:

"Potatoes, new small whole........6 minutes........Quick Release

Always cook with at least 1-2 cups of liquid.

Use Quick Release method at end of cooking cycle so vegetables will not become soggy.

Chart for quanity approximately half a pot.

I have bought my daughters and grand-daughters the Elite because as I said IT IS THE BEST........
