Re: Nancy’s Cabbage Rolls?

They sound delicious!  Is the recipe from Nancy Hornback, the QVC host?

Re: Nancy’s Cabbage Rolls?

Ok..so the timing was correct for this recipe. The cabbage was soft and the filling was a C.. The filling lacked flavor or 'zip'. The garlic and bacon added nothing. I agree vegetables like some onion would have been nice. But we all ate it with no complaints, with parm.cheese and salt. Yes you are right about the egg...the filling was firm and not tender as typical recipes. I prefer the looser texture too. Thanks to all posters here for your helpful comments

@SugarGlider Recipies.com has quite a few cabbage rolls as well as a cabbage roll casserole.  You might enjoy reading their collection.Smiley Happy

Re: Nancy’s Cabbage Rolls?

@deepwaterdotter, thanks for posting your recipe. Hubby has been hinting for months that he loves cabbage rolls - I've never made them before. I've copied your recipe because it looks very "doable" for me, and plan on making it this weekend. I'm assuming that while the rice is cooked, the ground beef is raw when it's mixed with the other ingredients. Thanks again!
