NO BAKE Peanut Butter Hot Fudge Pie

[ Edited ]

NO BAKE PEANUT BUTTER HOT FUDGE PIE

1 (8 ounce) package of cream cheese, softened

¾ cup creamy style peanut butter

½ cup confectioners' sugar

1 jar hot fudge (I used Smucker's brand) do NOT use chocolate syrup

1 (16 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed (the 16 oz size is the BIG one)

15 miniature chocolate covered peanut butter cups, unwrapped

1 (9 inch) prepared graham cracker crust (store bought is fine)

DIRECTIONS:

Put your jar of hot fudge in the microwave for 30 seconds or so, until it is easy to spread. Spread about 1/2 cup fudge on the bottom of the crust. (You can add as much as you like.)

Mix the cream cheese, confectioners' sugar, and peanut butter together until smooth. Fold in 1/2 of the whipped topping, then spoon the mixture into the graham cracker crust.

Place the remaining whipped topping over the top of the peanut butter mixture and garnish with peanut butter cups.

Cover with Saran Wrap. Freeze for at least 2-3 hours until firm or overnight before serving. (*Take out of freezer 5-10 minutes before serving)

*OPTIONAL: Prior to serving:
In place of or in addition to the peanut butter cups, you could also heat up any remaining hot fudge in the microwave and/or add a little peanut butter to a separate bowl and melt it in the microwave. Use a spoon to drizzle peanut butter and then fudge over the whole pie, or each slice as you serve it.

@Kachina624  Forget the kids! (Lol)  This pie is loved by adults who have a love of peanut butter and/or chocolate.  Would make a great birthday pie!   So easy to make too.

Little princess Charlotte just celebrated her 7th birthday. I could see her enjoying a slice.

@ciao_bella

I made the pie yesterday and my husband had a slice with his dinner last evening. This morning I open the frig and no pie. Apparently, he got up in the middle of night and ate the whole thing! lol

Anyway, thank you for the recipe. It’s obviously delicious, but thanks to my husband, I wouldn’t know. lol

@Malcontent  Oh my goodness!   Sorry you didn't get to taste it, but at least you know from your husband's midnight snack that it was good!  LoL

Re: NO BAKE Peanut Butter Hot Fudge Pie

Thank you @ciao_bella

I made a version of this too, for Mother's Day dessert.

Combined this and another recipe I had been saving!

Made my own Oreo crust, used MORE PB...only 1 cool whip and less sugar.

Of course, I had to toss in some mini choco chips!  LOL

The fudge on the bottom was so good and the fudge drizzle on top made it so pretty!

I hope when I get home, my DH didn't eat the whole thing!   LOL
