My thanks to all of you who've added so much to my 'recipe collection' as well as to the actual new 'rotations' on my kitchen menu, and the pleasantries of the exchanges we have here.

I started a neat thing years ago, not knowing how much pleasure it would give me in the years to come. I did it for a variety of reasons, every reason except the one that it serves now - fond memories. I always include the name of the person who gave me the recipe if it was a personal friend. Unfortunately, I copied a lot of recipes without acknowledging the book, TV show, newspaper, whatever more impersonal source.

But the 'friends' recipes now recall faces, fun past times, and even different countries and continents. I have derived a lot of pleasure from that.

And now the recipes I collect from recipe swap include the contributors' names so that I will continue not only to credit those persons, but to remember their part in the success of recipe swap. (In the beginning, before it seemed so personal, I neglected to do this. Unfortunately that means some aren't getting the credit they deserve, so if I ever post one of those and you recognize it, please let me know.)
