Mrs. Prindables, storing, shelf life questions

Need info on storing Mrs Prindables to ensure apples are not brown and mushy before give as xmas gift.  I received Mrs. Prindables 10 apples today.  How does one store them for freshness as well as self life, when should they be thrown out if not eaten by a certain date?  How long can one keep in the refrigerator before gifting, will the apples turn brown while stored?  Can they be frozen. Thanks in advance

Keeping fresh produce ..fresh...for gift giving is the reason I take a pass on them.  (a worry I don't need)   Refrigerator is your best bet....freeze = NO NO NO

They last a long time 2-3 weeks. Remember to take them out an hour before serving, so the chocolate doesn't come off when you cut them!  I have some coming too.

they do last around three weeks.....sometimes longer. make sure to store them someplace where it is quite cool. i actually leave them in the box and keep them in our garage.....sometimes the refrigerator if the temperature creeps up.

very delicious and a nice treat to give without breaking the bank. we usually keep a few for ourselves and give a few away as small gifts.

No special secrets, just keep the apples refrigerated. We have had apples delivered in early December that weren't eaten until February, and they were still firm and crisp. The longest we've kept them was April, and they were just starting to decline by then.

I think they only last about 2-3 weeks in the refrigerator so by Christmas I'm sure they will be getting soft & need to be ate ASAP.

Don't freeze them they won't be any good if you do.

TROPICS21 -

WE GOT OURS LAST YEAR, KEPT THEM IN THE REIDGE AND WITHIN ONE WEEK THE INSIDES ON THEM WERE MUSHY-BROWN-ROTTING AND WORTHLESS.
