Has anyone made this recipe? I have I like making them in the fall months.

This has been on my 'to make' list for a while...maybe this year.
Love meatballs but don't like oregano and it is in most of them.
Thanks for the opinion of these!

@ZhillsI found the recipe that you posted back in November of 2015:
Mrs. Murphy's Meatballs
1 lb ground chuck
1/4 cup uncooked rice (not instant)
1 green pepper, chopped fine
1 small onion, chopped fine
1 stalk celery, chopped fine
2 cups cabbage, finely shredded
1 (10-3/4 oz) condensed cream of tomato soup
1/2 soup can of water
You need a large frying pan at least 2 inches deep.
Pour the tomato soup and water into pan; place over low heat.
In a large bowl combine meat, rice and vegetables.
Form into balls (our meatballs were about 1-1/2 inches)
Place the meatballs in the soup. (This is important, put meatballs in raw...do not fry)
Simmer for about 1-1/2 hours.

I like the meatballs in Hoagie buns with shredded
mozzarella cheese and parm cheese.
Tip: you can save time by buying shredded cabbage, then I just chop it up finer.
