I just wet a paper towel and wrapped the corn in it and microwaved for 3 min.  I the did the same with another ear but microwaved it for 2 min.

THe 2 min. One won hands down.  It was easy and delicious.

i wish I had known about this years ago.

I microwave my corn husk on about 3 minutes, cut the sealed end and pull off the husks and silk with a kitchen towel once cooked and it is delicious.

Comes out just as good as boiled and a lot faster!  I prefer a three minute in microwave.

I'd be concerned about chemicals used in paper towels (chlorine, formaldehyde, etc.) leaching into the corn.  Maybe microwaving in the husks would work just as well.

I have cooked it this way for a few years now, you can look up a video on You Tube

I wrap the corn in wax paper. Always good out of the microwave. Wish I knew about cooking corn this way years ago.

I also microwave corn in the husk about 3 min. Silk comes off so much easier and i find it to be a much quicker and neater process than shucking before cooking.

Easy Corn Salad Recipe

6 ears of corn, cooked
1 green pepper, diced (I used less)
2 (Roma) plum tomatoes, diced (I used 1)
¼ cup diced red onion
Chopped cilantro (I used parsley)
1 - 2 tsp olive oil (I used Herbes de Provence infused)
Salt, pepper

(Basically i just use whatever leftover veggies are in the crisper!)

Toss, set aside at least 30 min to allow flavors to blend.  This is delish either warm or cold depending on your preference, a/o (and/or) what you happen to be serving it with.

You don't have to wrap the corn in anything. Just put it in the microwave for 4 minutes. Comes out perfect every time. 🌽🌽🌽🌽

I don't wrap mine -  just wet it and put it in the microwave as is.  I do 4 minutes -  that works perfectly for me -  but you might want less time if you have a newer, more powerful machine.  Mine has 750 watts -  lots of newer ones have more.
