It's possible they are going to expand their celebrity chef lines, like HSN does, and so they don't need all these cooks in the kitchen (pun intended ;o)

            My reaction to her comments on air, and in her video announcement, is that she seems to be happily moving forward to a platform that's better for her and that's more a reflection of the way she wants to teach and offer help and recommendations.   With this, she has her own "cooking school" and it has a warm and welcoming feel.

            For those who don't want to interact with Facebook, she has a lovely, well-designed website.   

            It's easy to find by searching for "Blue Jean Chef" or "Meredith Laurence" and the website offers an email sign-up for news, annoucements, info, etc.

The replacement or rather replacements aren't Bon Warden.  They are Shereen Palivdes and Natalie Bazinet Locketz.  Both are chefs.

There's nothing "fishy" about her departure; she let people know three weeks in advance that she was planning to quit at the end of the year to return to teaching and more direct interaction with the people who follow her on social media.
