Re: Meatloaf with Stuffing...

I use the same recipe that @PA Mom-mom uses, however I don't add bbq sauce or ketchup.  Also, I cook mine for an hour and 15 minutes.

I always use 80/20 ground beef and have never had my meat loaf fall apart.

This really does make a delicious meatloaf.  I used to change up my recipe every time I made it, until I discovered this recipe.  I've been making it this way for the last 25 years or so.

Ok Ladies,

I always add salsa, egg, ketchup and bread crumbs to my meatloaf, but next time I make it, I'm adding the stuffing (instead of the bread crumbs). Smiley Wink

Thanks to everyone who responded.

Be sure to add a cup of water, too, along with the dry stuffing mix!

@Citrine1 You could use the "juicier" kind of salsa too rather than a cup of water.

Re: Meatloaf with Stuffing...

I've done this with Stove Top Sage stuffing and eggs and it came out delicious.  I think I used the entire bag but it will depend on how much hamburg you are using.  I generally make 2lbs,

so I get two 1 lb loaves and I freeze one.

Re: Meatloaf with Stuffing...

One of my aunts used to add Kellogg's croutettes to her meatloaf, and it was very tasty, so using stuffing mix should be, too.
