I love salads, and desserts in Mason jars.   I am not a big fan of lettuce or mixed greens.   My favorite salad in a jar was layers of macaroni salad with lots of veggies in it, chopped chicken, turkey, or ham, with a few chunks of pineapple and almond slivers.   I use wide mouth pint jars.
