Yum the bread looks good.

Where did you get the gadget with divider sections to store your cooking tools? There would work better than my crock.

Yum. Bring them to Philly. I'll make cheesesteaks!

I got the gadget holder, probably 40 years ago.  Sorry I don't remember where I ordered it from .

@Barbarainnc, they look delicious!  You have inspired me to give it a try.

The next time that I hear salt and ice together, it better be in a margarita!

Mix 2 packs of active dry yeast,1 T sugar, add 1/2 c warm water. Let set 5 min. Add 1/3 c oil, then add 3 c all purpose flour (15oz) and 3 c bread flour (12 3/4 oz), 3T sugar, 2 t salt, and 1 1/2 c warm water. Mix the dough by hand or in a stand mixer with a dough hook, til dough leaves the side of  the bowl. Put into a greased bowl, cover with plastic wrap, let double. Shape into sub rolls. I scaled the dough, 9.5 oz for 5 sub rolls. I made them about 12 inches long. Let double. Bake at 400 for 20 min. I cut mine in half after cooling and freeze them. Let thaw and make a wonderful sub.😊❤😊 the rolls remind me of Jersey Mikes sub rolls. I use King Arthur Flour when baking.
