Great idea for mixing up the low carb doldrums!

Re: Looking to skip carbs.........

This is a bit more about the pickle. Since the pickles are specially made for the shop, they may not have as much salt.

"Served on signature kosher pickles which are custom made for the shop, the deli sandwiches at Elsie’s come laden with meaty offerings like capicola, salami, turkey breast and corned beef, as well as vegetarian-friendly options like hummus with roasted red pepper and falafel with red onion."

I can feel my arteries clogging just looking at all those nitrates on a bed of sodium.  No thanks.

That's a great idea, except I cannot abide pickles.

That is too funny!  I thought it was a joke.

Did someone say,

Salt, SALT, salty, SALT, Salt, sALt, salty, SALT

Too MUCH pickle.   Maybe a skewer with alternating meat+cheese pinwheels and slices of pickle and tomato.

@Roxxy  I love salt and low carb! Sounds like a winner! I eat dill pickles instead of chips. Hey, that's what blood pressure meds are for, right?
