Looking for Martha Stewart's Chicken Salad Recipe

Hi Guys....It's me...Bizziebee from awhile ago. I had to create a new account.

Does anyone have Martha Stewart's old chicken salad recipe...the one where she uses mayonnaise, dry Italian dressing mix, honey, sour cream and a few other things. I cannot find this recipe anywhere and it is truly da bomb...especially if you make it waldorf style with grapes, apples & walnuts.

Re: Looking for Martha Stewart's Chicken Salad Recipe

Hi bizziebee! Welcome back!

I'm sure no expert on Martha Stewart, but are you sure it's one of her recipes? She makes her own ketchup, mustard and mayo, so I just can't picture her using dry Italian salad dressing mix.

I hope you find what you're looking for. Smile

Re: Looking for Martha Stewart's Chicken Salad Recipe

I have this written down. I don't think it is Martha's, but something Southern.

Dressing:

1/2 c italian dressing

1 c mayo

1 Tab white vinegar

1 1/2 tea celery seed

1/2 tea salt

1/2 c sour cream

1 Tab honey

Add to cubed chicken along with however much celery, nuts, or apples you want.

I found another recipe:

2 c chicken

1 c celery

small can of mandarin oranges

1/2 c grapes

1/2 c pecans

1/4 c mayo

1/4 c sour cream

1 1/2 tsp italian dressing mix
