Looking For a Tried and True Recipe for "Caramel Candy"

I came across some yummy looking caramel online, and I was so tempted to order it. But then I thought, with the right recipe, maybe I could make some as good, or even better than this.

I remember seeing a recipe here a few years back, from one of the regular contributors, and I think I copied it. The caramel was individually wrapped in little pieces of wax paper. My computer has crashed since then, and I no longer have it.

I'm hoping someone will re-post it for me. TIA
