Re: Let's Get Ready for Football . . . . Dip Recipes!

[ Edited ]

When I was dating my last boyfriend, we watched his college football team and would have lunch/dinner/heavy snacks during the game.

These are some of the things I made:

Skinny Taco Dip (lighter version of 7 Layer Dip)

Cheesy Baked Black Beans & Rice

Pretzel Bites (you can use frozen bread dough for this one)

Chili Colorado Burritos

We must be the only house in the US that doesn't eat during the football game.  Must be something wrong with us.

If it's an 11 a.m. kickoff, we have a big breakfast and go out after the game.  We don't ever have snacks or things during a game.  So tell me.  Are we the ONLY ones?  I sorta get that feeling!  Woman Frustrated

@Sooner,That's ok, hon.  I don't even watch it!  I never liked football and I can't stand the "announcer voice" since I was a child!

2 cups shredded cheddar chese

1 pkg. dry ranch dressing

6 oz. beer

Mix together well and refrigerate.  Serve with square pretzels or Wheat Thins.
