1 pkg Lemon or Golden Oreos  I had no problem finding Lemon Oreos

6 tbsp. butter melted

8oz cream cheese softened

1/2 cup butter softened

1 cup powdered sugar

16 oz container cool whip,  I did whip my own heavy cream.

2 -- 3.9 oz  pkgs of instant lemon pudding

2 1/2 cups milk

lemons for garnish

Crush whole pkg of oreos in food processor till fine mixture put in bowl and add 6 tbsp melted butter and mix till combined.

Press oreo mixture in 9x13 ungreased pan, I just used my fingertips.

In your mixer beat cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar till well combined then add half the cool whip and mix well

spread the cream cheese mixture on the oreo crust

In a bowl wisk the 2 boxes of pudding and mix till it thickens and spread over cream cheese mixture

Top the pudding with the rest of the cool whip and refregerate a couple of hours

Garnish with lemon slices if you like

I made this and can honestly say it was a delicious light dessert and my family enjoyed it.

I just did this same recipe on Memorial Day but it was layered on Toll House Cookie dough baked a bit for soft cookie then White Chocolate pudding mix and Fudge Jello Pudding mix and then all your other ingredient except lemon.  We made pigs of ourselves.  Will try the lemon above next, love lemons.  Mine was called Lasagna Lush I believe @hayseed00.

This is such a versatile dessert; I’ve eaten this with chocolate, butterscotch, French vanilla, cheesecake, and lemon puddings.   My favorite was cheesecake pudding and the golden oreo’s.

Yes, you can make so many varieties this dessert.  Years ago the recipes were called tortes, then I saw the lasagna description, and now I see the lush designation. I still think of them as tortes.

I have been spying all the different variations of them @AuntG even today I was checking some of them out.  So little time and so many to try, but I will do my best!Heart  Something about pudding just sits right in this world.
