Does anyone have the recipe for the Le Creuset chili shown on air today?  It started with stew beef and looked so good!

The Le Creuset guy was making several dishes that looked delicious.  He should have his own cooking show!

@Carolyn57

I did not watch the show so not sure what the name of the recipe is you are looking for. There was no beef stew or chili recipe included in the recipes on the product page on QVC.

The LeCreuset site online has a recipe called Meat Ragu you could check to see if that's what you are looking for?

I didn't see the show you are referencing, but the recipe sounds like the one I make  for Chile con Carne:

14.5 oz can diced tomatoes

4 slices chopped bacon

3 lb stew meat cut into 1" cubes and patted dry

1 cup chopped onion

3 tbsp chili powder

1 1/2 tsp ground cumin

1/2 tsp oregano

4 tsp minced garlic

4 cups water

1 tbsp brown sugar

2 tbsp corn muffin mix

Puree tomatoes in food processor until smooth.  Cook bacon in Dutch oven until crisp.  Reserve 3 tbsp fat, then drain rest of grease from bacon on paper towels.

Sprinkle beef with salt and pepper.  Heat 2 tbsp reserved fat in Dutch oven and brown meat.  Reserve in bowl for later.

Cook rest of fat and onions until softened.  Stir in chili powder, cumin, oregano, and garlic.  Stir in water, pureed tomatoes, bacon, browned meat, and brown sugar;  bring to boil.  Cover and simmer over low heat for 1 hour.  Skim fat and simmer uncovered for 45 minutes.

Spoon 1 cup of liquid from chili pot into a bowl and stir in muffin mix.  Cover bowl with plastic wrap and microwave for 1 minute.  Slowly whisk into chili and simmer for 10 minutes to thicken.
