Knudsen's Cottage Cheese & Fruit

I love these but the Mango flavor had a hot/bitey taste and also there was a word (dont have the package) under Mango which I didn't know.  Read what was in it and nothing about peppers, etc.

Called the company and yes, some kind of pepper makes it hot.  Here in AZ many jellies & jams are made with fruit & peppers.  I have never seen this in other states so I'm wondering if these are just offered in our SW area?  Thank you!

Yes, adding chile to fruit is an ancient custom- all the fruit venders sell  lime and chile wth their fruit- that is what "Tajin" is for.. I'm in California and we have this and always have..

Same with pepino, what most know as cucumber, rolled in lime, salt and chile powder..yum..VERY refreshing..

I think the cottage cheese sounds  really good- thanks i will look for it..

@Jackhound Mom, habanero (the word under mango) is a hot (spicy) chili pepper.
