I found this recipe on line.   I'm not sure if I need to put it into a round mold or individual cups.

Does anyone know this recipe or can suggest other ones with Jello & Cool Whip!

Thanks.

COOL WHIP JELLO
8 oz. Cool Whip
8 oz. sour cream
3 oz. orange Jello
1 can mandarin oranges, drained well
1 lg. can chunk pineapple, drained well

Combine Cool Whip and sour cream. Stir in dry Jello powder and well drained fruit. Chill several hours or overnight. Use your imagination and try other flavors of Jello and fruit.

I have never made this but I think it would make a nice presentation in a mold. Also people tend to take less and thus not wasting it from a mold rather than individual cups. Usually there are so many desserts to choose from people like a "taste".

I use a version of this one. But I make the Jello according to box. When getting kind of set, I add Cool Whip and fold.  I leave out the sour cream and add pecans!!  Serve in a bowl for individual guests. So good!!  Check the CoolWhip website...am sure that there are several good recipes there.

Cranberry mousse: 1 cup cranberry juice (AKA cranberry cocktail or cranberry cocktail juice) 1 14 oz can jellied cranberries - heat and stir on stove until smooth. Add 3 oz pkg cranberry or raspberry gelatin. Stir until gelatin is dissolved.  Let set until thick.  Fold in 1 cup whipped cream ( do not add sugar).  Pour in mold and let set 3-4 hours.  You can use Cool Whip in place of whipped cream.

Sounds yummy!    I LOVE cranberries.    Will try.

Thanks for all the ideas.    Appreciate it.

Re: Jello & Cool Whip Recipes

I have a similar recipe that calls for cottage cheese instead of sour cream.  It doesn't hold its shape so is not suitable for a mold.  It is very good.  For years I took it in a very contemporary stainless bowl to pot-luck luncheons we had at work.  I always came home with an empty bowl
