@house_cat Are those Napa or Savoy cabbages?  What is the green one?  I believe they are interchangeable just not familiar with those.

Try the Napa Cabbage Ramen noodle salad on Pinterest.  It is delicious also.

The two in the front of the basket are napa cabbages. The one in the back is kale.

@house_cat Thanks, I thought so.  Just don't see them not "trimmed up" in a grocery!  How did you cook the Kale?

BROWN SUGAR Ribs

3/4 cup packed BROWN SUGAR

2 tablespoons paprika

2 tablespoons salt

2 teaspoons cayenne pepper

2 teaspoons black pepper

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 oranges, juiced

2 racks baby back pork ribs, cut into 2-rib pieces

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.  In a large bowl mix together the BROWN SUGAR, paprika, salt, cayenne pepper, black pepper, garlic and orange juice.  Add ribs and toss until coated evenly.  Cut an aluminum foil sheet that is 18" wide and 24" long.  Place on top of a baking sheet.  Place ribs on foil along with extra juices.  Fold ends over the ribs,  followed by sides and seal tightly to completely enclose.  Bake for 2 hours.

* This is a Ree Drummond recipe.  It is good and no mess to clean up after. If you don't have a grill or it is a cold winter day, you can still enjoy ribs!  I did not add the cayenne pepper.

I know it is very hot in most places, but this is a great lunch!

Aunt Gladys’ Soup

1 lb beef or your favorite beef,

3 lg potatoes cut into 1/2” cubes
3 raw carrots or 1 small can
2 celery ribs
1 sm onion, diced
1 can diced tomatoes (14 oz) undrained
1/2 cup okra (optional)

I have added a small amount (1/4 cup) of cut up cabbage or greens after 20 mins.

Add 1 can chicken broth and 1 can beef broth (I use Beef ‘Better than Bouillon’ and water)

Salt and pepper to taste. (broth is already salted)

Cook until veggies are tender. About 30 minutes.

Broth can be diluted with water to obtain desired taste. Makes 3 quarts
