I had torn this recipe out of a magazine I had I think it possibly
is From Taste Of The South magazine

CAST Iron Veggie Pizza

2 medium heirloom tomatoes, thinly sliced
3/4 tsp kosher salt, divided
1 (16oz) deli pizza dough , room temp
3 tbsp prepared refrigerated pesto, plus more for brushing
1/4 cup thinly sliced red onion
1/3 cup thinly sliced zucchini
1/2 cup chopped fresh mozzarella cheese
Garnish torn fresh basil
Thinly sliced red onion

Place tomato slices on paper towels , sprinkle with 1/2 tsp salt
Let stand at room temp 30 mins Pat dry with paper towels

Preheat oven to 450

Press dough into a 12 inch CAST iron skillet spread pesto onto dough leaving a 1 inch boarder
Layer tomatoes, onion , zucchini on top of pesto
Sprinkle with remaining 1/4 tsp salt
Top with mozzarella
Bake until golden brown and cheese is melted 25/30 mins
Remove from oven brush with pesto
Garnish with basil and onion if desired

Lemony Poppy Seed DRESSING

 

1/2 cup honey

1/4 cup fresh lemon juice

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon DRY MUSTARD

2/3 cup vegetable oil

1 teaspoon poppy seeds

 

In blender or food processor, combine honey, lemon juice, onion powder salt and DRY MUSTARD.  With machine running, drizzle oil into the mixture.  Add poppy seeds and pulse to mix gently.  Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.  Shake well before serving if mixture separates after storage.  Makes about 1 1/2 cups.

This recipe is from a friend I have no idea where it came from if it’s her own recipe or not , it’s a little different from the usual EGG salad

EGG salad

12 hard boiled EGGS , chopped

In bowl mix
1/2 cup finely chopped celery
1/4 cup finely diced green onions
1/2 cup mayonnaise ( you might need a bit more)
2 tsp Dijon mustard
2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp sugar
Salt and pepper to taste
Fold in the chopped eggs

Fish Sticks

 

Prepare your favorite fish sticks according to package instructions.  Serve with Tater tots and a

 

Dipping sauce

 

Mayo or Miracle Whip

Add Sweet Chili sauce to taste.

 

Or 

 

Mayo with pickle relish and chopped onion and a dash of Seafood Seasoning.

 

Good dip for both Fish and Taters.
