Issaquah Bread

1/3 cup Crisco

3/4 cup chunky peanut butter

2/3 cup sugar

2 eggs

1 cup ripe bananas...mashed

1 3/4 cups flour...sifted

2 teaspoons baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon baking soda

1/4 cup buttermilk

Cream Crisco with peanut butter. Gradually add sugar, creaming til light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time. Beat well after adding each one. Stir in bananas. Sift dry ingredients together and add alternately with buttermilk. Mix til well blended. Grease a loaf pan. Pour batter into pan. Bake at 350* for an hour or til center tests done. Cool on rack.
