I had a Crab Spread over the holidays that imitation crab meat in it. I have the same recipe but I always used chopped shrimp in it. Can anyone tell me if this is a decent product? It really didn't taste bad in the spread but the other ingredients could have masked the real flavor. Is it even real food? I know when it is on sale at my local store, they sell alot of it. Any opionions. Also, I've read most shrimp sold commercially and in restaurants is farm raised. Do any of you know of a brand that isn't farm raised? I undestand that is really not healthy but given that so much of it is consumed and no one I know of has gotten sick is it really that bad? TIA
Suzy
