I mean, they are so EASY. Just make sure the sausage mixture has come to room temperature before speading on the dough. Much easier.
After that and it is rolled up it can be refrigerated until ready to slice and bake. Slice when cold then let sit while oven preheats.
I make these often just because they are so tasty.

I make this one a lot using day old croissants. We like it.
I double it and make it in a 9x9 pan.

@mustang66lady those are two great recipes. I seriously don't understand why people lash out at PD's recipes because they don't like her.

@BirdieGal those roll-ups look fantastic. I'm going to look up Mr. Food for some of his easy recipes.
Edited to add that I couldn't believe you only need crescent rolls, sausage, a pepper and scallions!

This is my new favorite oven baked French toast recipe, I love the orange in this. It's from Martha Stewart. I make the batter the night before and dip everything in the morning to bake:

That sounds perfect. I always keep croissants on hand but they get stale sometimes if we don’t get right to them. I think I can make a couple of recipes for Christmas and a couple for our New Years brunch! Thank you
