Hello there! long time-reader, first time poster... I have become a woman possessed with finding a recipe from my childhood (I'm 54). It was called italian hunters stew...it had beef cubes (I'm guessing chuck), stovepipe pasta, carrots, it was red so tomato product of some sort. I've looked online, but the seasonings do not sound right. I will spare you the story of how I walked uphill both ways in the snow barefoot year-round, lets just say this recipe is really important to me. Do you remember when you could but a cookbook with your groceries for $0.29 in the late 60's or early 70's? That was the book it was in, either Better home & gardens fabulous 15 or Good housekeeping versions. I've even ordered "vintage" (YEESH! NOW I REALLY FEEL OLD!) cookbooks online, but to no avail. I really REALLY hope someone "out there" can help. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!!! TERRI
