@house_cat   In my book that is a fail.  Nice to know she has a culinary misstep or two.  I don't think i would have shared it on Instagram.

A molded seafood salad might have worked better . . ..

It doesn't bother me.  I think it is a creative use of an old mold for a dessert.  Lobsters are dark red like that--so I'm fine with it.  I'd be happy to partake at a party.

I like all the ingredients, but I'd be every bit as likely to enjoy them presented in pretty individual portions.  I know presentation can be a big deal, but I can't remember ever being in love with a molded offering.

Does not look very appetizing. I don't want my dessert to look like a lobster. That's not dessert that's the main course. LOL!!!

not sure why this is a "fail?"

i think this is great, especially if having a seafood party or a crab feast.

perfect for a summertime party/gathering.

the dessert  looks good and tastes good i bet!
