Something different that most have not tried before. It uses canned Mexicorn (found in canned veg aisle ) which gives a little kick. Very easy. Wish I could post a link.

I found the recipe but can't post the link either. It looks good!

Re: I need a recipe for a dip to take to a party

Ingredients:

3 cans Mexicorn

2 (8-oz) blocks pepper jack cheese

2 cups mayonnaise

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese (fresh is always best, but canned is fine, too)

Scooped corn or tortilla chips (for serving)

Preparation:

Preheat the oven to 350°F. Combine the ingredients in a large bowl. Spoon the mixture into a large casserole dish and bake for about 25 minutes.

Fbettyboop, that's it, thank you for posting the recipe! The reason it calls for scooped out chips is because it would slide off regular flatter chips.

Re: I need a recipe for a dip to take to a party

I found this on wineandglue.com I made it for a holiday party and it was a hit.

Cheese Cake Batter Dip

3/4 oz cheesecake pudding mix (I used jello instant)

1/2 cup dry white cake mix

1/2 cup milk ( I used 2 %)

8 oz whipped topping thawed (I used Cool Whip)

Stir the pudding mix into the thawed cool whip then stir in the milk then the cake mix. Beat on medium low till well combined about 2 to 3 minutes. Serve with crackers and fruit.

Buffalo Chicken Dip

2 cans (12.5 oz each) canned chicken breast (drained)

1 cup Frank's Red Hot

2 bars (8 oz each) cream cheese

1 cup ranch salad dressing

8 oz cheddar cheese, shredded

Put the drained chicken and the Red Hot in a pan & warm over medium heat. Add cream cheese, ranch, & cheddar cheese. Cook until cheese is melted. Can make in crock pot also.

Serve warm with tortilla chips

This recipe sounds delish! Next time I gather with friends, I'm making it.

I have a very simple dip - deviled ham (one large can) and two bricks of cream cheese (or two larger tubs of whipped cream cheese if you prefer). Just blend them together and serve with crackers. SUPER easy yet super tasty - every time I make it, it is gobbled up!

Is deviled ham Spam?

deviled ham

This is deviled ham. You can usually find it in the supermarket near the tuna fish, canned chicken, Spam, etc.

Re: I need a recipe for a dip to take to a party

Found a new one that we love--shredded Jarlsberg cheese, Hellman's and some chopped red onion. Just enough mayo to make it creamy and onions, but not enough to overpower the cheese flavor. No one I know who makes it has ever had a recipe and I've never Googled it.
