It's about being honest with people. Especially your family.

Smart move.  Let them enjoy the rolls.  I wouldn't say anything unless someone asked for the recipe.  People are stressed for time and many now do the "half bought" thing.

right... the original restaurant rolls are better than what I can make.... wasn't planning on buying generic grocery store dinner rolls.
