Re: How to Make a Perfect Shrimp Cocktail

[ Edited ]

I've always considered shrimp cocktail to be one of the most simple and easy dishes ever conceived.

Thaw some frozen precooked and peeled shrimp in fridge.  Mix up some ketchup (or preferably some  bottled chili sauce), a little bottled prepared horseradish, a little Worcestershire, a little lemon juice.

We love it.

Nothing complicated about it!!

To make it even more simple, buy bottled cocktail sauce and dress it up with nothing more than  a little lemon juice, hot sauce,  and Worcestershire if you want a stronger taste.

@KingstonsMom   Yes indeed. I lived on Wilmington Island for many years and before that in Savannah. After 67 years near the coast I moved to North Georgia to be near my daughter and her family. I sure miss those good Tybee shrimp. Miss St. Patrick's day too. Hope y'all had a great day.
