How do I tenderize pork chops in a crock pot?

I found a recipe for baked pork chops but I want to make sure they are tender before I bake them in the oven.

How would I tenderize them? I can't add soup, etc., because of the recipe I will be using to bake them.

Please help if you can...thank you
