It must be mid-summer because I am constantly eating tomatoes.
Cream cheese and tomato on a bagel, BLTs, grilled cheese with tomato, sauteed fresh tomatoes and garlic over pasta, sauteed tilapia with fresh tomatoes, etc.
What are you doing with your tomatoes?

Eating them.

So envious of you! Our tomatoes, for various reasons, are not really producing this year. We've only gotten a handful of cherry or grape tomatoes and enjoyed them immensely.
But if we had a great yield, it would be tomato sandwiches, tomato salads, tomato sauce, tomato pie, stuffed tomatoes...!

we mostly have cherry tomatoes getting ripe. So far we've panzella (bread) salad and angel hair pasta with roasted tomatoes and garlic. I have feta in the fridge, so we're having a fritatta tonight with tomatoes, spinach and feta.
I can't wait to have a BLT!!

I live in South Central Kansas. For whatever reason, my garden tomatoes have been dismal this year. Mostly I'm getting larger cherry tomatoes (2 plants) with the rare larger tomato.. I eat them raw all day long; love them as a snack, on a sandwich or in a garden or pasta salad. YUMM!! I hope eventually the weather will cool off/it will rain and the plants will do better. Then I will preserve tomato sauce and picante sauce. The wait is hard!!!

We have TONS of tomatoes this year. Canning juice as well as stewed. A chopped tomato goes in just about everything. Pico, sandwiches, in all stews and soups.

I love a fresh tomato sandwich.

Mine are few and still green. Can't figure out what the problem is.
My daughter sent over three huge ones but they are oval and not like the usual round ones. Plum tomates maybe??? They look good but I thought plum tomates were small. I love tomatoe and mayo sandwiches w/salt and pepper, but it's a lot of acid for me to handle lately.

Everyone enjoy your garden bounty. I'm so jealous.
I wish I had some to be using up. Here in the TX heat, the garden tomatoes are history for this summer. They gave up the ghost early, after not producing well this year.
I sure could use a fresh tomato, mozzarella, basil salad right now, with a dash of balsamic. It's not the same with store bought tomatoes.
