I made this Honey Bun Coffee Cake today.

It's a very easy recipe that begins with a box of yellow cake mix.

We haven't cut into it yet, but if it tastes half as good as it smells, it's going to be one dangerous cake!

1 box yellow cake mix
8 ounce tub sour cream
4 eggs
3/4 c. vegetable oil
1 c brown sugar
1 Tbsp ground cinnamon
2 c. powdered sugar
4 Tbsp. milk
1 Tbsp. vanilla

Preheat oven to 325.  Prepare 9 x 13 pan.

@house_cat  Could you be more specific about what you do with ingredients?  Surely you don't throw all in one bowl?  We have cooks of differing levels of proficiency.

How much vanilla did you use? I read the recipe and the comments and there seemed to be a question about a tablespoon or teaspoon of vanilla.

I didn't read those comments. I used a tablespoon, which seemed like a lot.  I hope I didn't ruin it.

That's really not alot considering all the ingredients and I really want some like now.

I always spill over.

It's still early here.  Dh usually looks for snacks later in the evening.

I'll post his critique later on - I won't mention the vanilla question, I want to get an unprejudiced review.
