Reading through the ingredients for your pasta salad, I noted several of my favorites were missing. . . For my Italian pasta salad, I usually add: pasta (choice of many), red onion, red and green sweet peppers, celery, black olives, cubed mozzarella cheese and quartered slices of hard salami.  Especially during the summer, I like to dice up fresh tomato and add it to the salad as I plate it up.  Top the salad with a generous amount of freshly grated Parmesan cheese. . . Tonight's Supper!!!

Hi Everyone...

I'm looking for a good homemade Italian Dressing Recipe for a Pasta Salad...I would appreciate you sharing your recipes.

Thanks so much!

@MyShadowLove  The recipe that @deepwaterdotter provided looks perfect I'm going to save that.

Rarely do I use processed foods as I cook however in a pinch I'll use "Suddenly Salad" General Mills and serve either hot or cold.

Part of it is nostalgia, my parents would use this periodically and they rarely bought packaged foods.  As a kid I loved it.

@rockygems123 My mom often used it too!  Thanks for mentioning it - it brings back good memories.
