Thank you all for these great recipes to try.

@MorningLover

I was wondering...does 1 portion banana mean one banana?

And when you say you use regular oats....do you mean Old Fashioned or Quick?

@RespectLife

I always put in one banana.  I buy Old Fashioned

Oats  (not Quick ), that's what I used.

I'm bad at following a recipe. I sometimes use two

eggs but omit one yolk. I add a little more oatmeal

Or double the batch.

Agree with you @Barbarainnc. The recipe I make is like yours but I don't sour the milk with vinegar. I use buttermilk. Mixes are okay, but frozen pancakes just aren't good.

After reading this thread yesterday...I had a hankering for pancakes. I didn't use @Barbarainnc your recipe but I will in the future. I used Bisquick and because of @MorningLover 's recipe. I had a riipe banana which I placed into the mixture.

It was gooood.

Some of my fondest memories is having breakfast at the 24 hr diner at 1am after a night of hanging out with friends.

These look good.  You can also seperate the eggs and whip them to fold into the finished batter.

Re: Homemade Fluffy Pancakes, throw out the mix and frozen ones.

DH had to get up early for a meeting this morning so did not get to try the pancakes this morning.

Plan on trying them in the morning unless DH wants something else.

@Barbarainnc

Finally tried the pancakes this morning.

Had a late start today so that was Brunch.

DH was complaining about the batter being too thick. He wanted to add more milk. I told him No to get out of the kitchen?  LOL!!!

He liked them so said it's ok to make them like that.

We put chopped pecans in it.

DH said it was too much work. Said he could go to IHop without the mess. I'm not going to IHop where you have to sit & wait on a table.
