Homemade Fluffy Pancakes, throw out the mix and frozen ones.

I found this recipe, tried it, and threw out my store bought mix. These were so good, I had to share. 😊❤😊 I just used a rubber spatula, no mixer.

Fluffy Pancakes

Mix 3/4 cup of milk and 2 Tablespoons of white vinegar, let set 5 minutes. Add one beaten egg. In another bowl put 1 cup all purpose flour, 2 Tablespoons sugar, 1 teaspoon baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon baking soda,1/2 teaspoon salt. Mix and add to the milk mixture. Stir and add 2 Tablespoons of melted butter. Mix til just combined. Batter will be thick. Use 1/4 cup on a lightly greased griddle. When it started to bubble, I turned it over. Oh my they are good.

Re: Homemade Fluffy Pancakes, throw out the mix and frozen ones.

You reminded me of this recipe I tried and like from

Livestrong recipes.

For a sweet breakfast to wake up to, whip up a batch of

these Banana Oat Pancakes. They take less than 10

minutes to make and feature only Four ingredients:

Banana, Eggs, Baking powder and instant Oats.

( I use regular oats ) Healthy and Super easy!

INGREDIENTS SERVES 2

  •  1 portion Ripe Banana
  •  2 large whole egg
  •  1/2 tsp Baking Powder
  •  1/2 cup Rolled Oats

In a blender or with a hand mixer, blend banana, eggs,
baking powder and oats until smoooth.

Pour batter onto griddle in small pancakes circles.
After about one minute flip your pancakes.

Thanks so much for these recipes. They sound amazing. The last few times I made pancakes, they haven’t been as good. I wondered if, like everything else, they changed the mix. 🤔

Will definitely try these!😋

This seems easy and great.  Thank you.  I think the only substitution I'll make will be bacon grease instead of butter.

Thanks for sharing. Maybe I will try these in the morning for breakfast with the addition of some chopped pecans plus some hot pure maple syrup. We love pecan pancakes.

Oh yum, bacon grease. I call it "liquid gold". Have a bowl full in the fridge. 😊

@Barbarainnc, where did you find this recipe?  If you could give me the website or cookbook, that would be much appreciated.  I have a cooking blog and always list my source.  TY!

Thank you all for these great recipes to try.

@MorningLover

I was wondering...does 1 portion banana mean one banana?

And when you say you use regular oats....do you mean Old Fashioned or Quick?

TIA!!!

@Ainhisg

I plugged the first portion of the recipe into Google, and found that it was from the All Recipes site:
