There are NO gluten free rice krispies. Apparently they USED to make gluten free, but no more. This is the problem with a non-gluten free person doing this. How would they know?

There are other brands of rice krispie type cereals that are gluten free, but do not use Kellogg's brand.

HB glamma, I think you should tell the host baking with gluten is a skill. One which you have no experience. Find a bakery and buy a gluten free dessert. Your host sounds like she is unaware of what gluten free baking entails.
