Help! Too many vidalia onions. What can I....

do with them that will freeze well? The farm store down the road has them at 5 huge ones for a dollar. So far I have 10. If I get enough ideas, I will go get more.

I have found many delicious sounding recipes, but will need to freeze them. I guess I could always just saute and freeze for later use. May make some soup.

Thought that some of you may have some good ideas.
