Have you ever made your own trail mix?

I think I may do that this week.

I feel like my taste buds are changing and foods I liked, I don't as much as I did.  I'm ready to experiment again.

I always make my own mix...just buy the nuts and seeds that we like and put together. We don't eat salted as it isn't good but also salt makes us eat more.

Last Summer we made our own trail/nut mix, it was much cheaper in the end

I make trail mix. I find that there's a big difference in freshness among nuts sold in the nut bins at the various local grocery stores. The nuts some stores sell taste terribly stale. Sometimes you need to pay a little more for better tasting nuts. I've heard that Trader Joes sells the best nuts at the best prices.

I never have made any. Just bought a couple different ones from Aldi's yesterday. It's pretty good.

I make it for my son who can't have dairy.  The type with no chocolate usually has dried fruit in it  that he doesn't like, so I make just nuts and raisins.
