You're not alone, I'll eat anything with meringue on it.
Well, maybe not 'Rocky Mountain oysters'.....LOL!

When on the Atkins Diet decades ago, I remember a "bread" we made from beaten egg whites. Not much flavor
and the consistency felt like "fluff". It looked very much like this. Of course, ours wouldn't have had sugar.

There's a link within the OP that shows how you make a keto version and the rainbow colored bread.

Yeah, I have heard of the keto friendly version. i'm not a fan of meringue. I'll either push it off to the side or eat it first to get it out of the way before I can then eat the good stuff. So, not a fan.

I've made it and it was pretty disgusting. Ended up throwing it away.

I've made it with grated parm instead of sugar and it was quite tasty and my dog and I both really liked it.

It looks unappealing.I would have no interest in trying it.

@PA Mom-mom wrote:@KingstonsMom I've made it a few times using the ingredients listed by @Janey2 . Not really a fan, but DH liked it (let's face it, he'd eat wood!). It wasn't that they turned out so bad, it's just that it seemed like a lot of work for the results achieved. This image I found online looks like my results:
This is the only one I have seen. I saw it listed as Keto Bread.

It looks like angel food cake with food coloring in it.

How to Make Cloud Bread
- 3 egg whites
- 30 grams white sugar (approximately 2-1/2 tablespoons)
- 10 grams corn starch (approximately 1 tablespoon)
Whisk together egg whites in a bowl until frothy, then add sugar and corn starch and whisk until mixture forms peaks.
Drop onto a cookie sheet in a dome shape, and bake for about 25 minutes at 300° F.
You can make a keto-friendly cloud bread, too. It skips the sugar and corn starch, but incorporates the egg yolks
It does not look appetizing at all...
