Some bread machines have a cake setting.  Maybe that would work.  I've never understood why one would want to make cake in a bread machine, but I guess some do.

@Icegoddess I have made cake in mine, but it sure isn't a great way to make cake.

@SoonerI think mine has the cake setting.  I don't even cook my bread in mine.  None of the settings gave me a nice dark loaf, so I just remove the dough and bake it the traditional way.  I prefer the shape of a traditional bread pan anyways.  I actually rather like kneading.  I just like the machine becaue bread making has all these steps which breaks up/dictaqtes your day. With the machine, once I've determined the bread ball is the right consistency, I can just go about doing things until I hear the beep.

@Icegoddess Bread machines are wonderful aren't they!  We have the Zojurishi Maestro (1 lb) and the bigger Plus machine but use the smaller one almost exclusively.

We make whole wheat bread but put in about 1/4 to 1/3 all purpose flour--which. makes exceptional bread!  We also put the dry ingredients except the yeast in small jars maybe 2 or 3 at a time and store in the fridge.

Then we can just put in the liquid, dump one of those containers in, add oil or butter and yeast and turn it on!  SO easy and inexpensive for great fresh bread!!!

@Sooner   I have used the cake setting.  It is more like a banana type bread.  Good. I use the recipe for the so called cake setting from the recipes that came with my zojurushi bread maker. I love the jam setting as well. Takes fresh fruits and makes fridge jam quick, and very tasty. I have also made tortilla dough and play doh for the grands years ago. The play doh with the jello for color is fun!!!

@Sooner  She just announced up above that she doesn't own an oven!

@shoesnbags She needs a toaster oven/convection oven not a bread maker.

Two yrs. ago, I looked at toasters/convection ovens, but none seemed good for bread making.

Re: Have you Ever Made Two-Ingredient Bread with a Bread maker?

Okay, I did it!

2 cups of Self-rising flour
1.25 cups of WHOLE MILK
Combine
(And I did use the "knead" feature for 5 minutes)
Bake 45 minutes.
It was almost perfect.
I won't use yogurt again.

Thanks for the help everyone!
