Make the stove top as the box says, mix your meat loaf as always-then flatten out the meat into a rectangle-spread the stove top on top, roll up like a jelly roll.

Top with ketchup.

So glad you liked it twinsister. It's so easy so it's a nice addition to the list of quick dinners for busy nights.

Re: Has anyone tried Stovetop Meatloaf?

I have made this version many times and love it:

Meatloaf Stuffing Muffins

2 lb. lean ground beef (or turkey)

1box stuffing (any flavor)

2 eggs

1cup water

1 packet onion soup mix

Spray cooking spray in muffin tins (12 muffins)

Mix all ingredients and press into equal amounts into muffin cups.

Bake 25-30 minutes on preheated 350 degree oven.

Freeze leftovers and easily pop in the microwave for 1 or 2 minutes to reheat.

I have put homemade stuffing inside a meatloaf , but never thought about pinwheeling it. Thanks!!

Re: Has anyone tried Stovetop Meatloaf?

I made it tonight and thought it was pretty good. My husband, who is not a fan of meatloaf, said it was good. The only change I made was to NOT add the entire amount of stuffing to the meat. Added about 3/4 of it and baked the rest in a separate ramekin. When I make it the next time, I may add a few more spices -- parsley & basil, garlic powder, but for a quick & easy recipe, this is it!!!

Re: Has anyone tried Stovetop Meatloaf?

I used to make meatloaf this way when the kids were going to school. I used 2# of meat and no water, just a little Heinz Chili sauce with the rest of the ingredients. Any flavor of Stove Top worked well. Everyone loved it.

There is no fun in doing nothing when you have nothing to do.
