I haven't eaten a Big Mac in about 25 years but I do know people that work at McDonald's and told me the meat is a lesser quality

I'm sure they have, after all, what hasn't?! But yes, I've noted they're a bit smaller. I always opt for no onions, as I never liked the too strong chopped onions they used, so can't speak for the supposed new 'carmelized' onions. I suspect there have been changes to the sauce too, but I like it and like that they now seem to add a bit more of it. Don't eat them often so it's hard to say what's changed.

@PatrickTyler- Definitely the Big Mac has changed and not for the better.  I had one less than a year ago and was very disappointed and have not had one since.  The whole sandwich is smaller and the burgers are very thin.  The biggest change was the new special sauce recipe.  It was more acidic and tasted terrible.  I am done with McDonalds.

I adore McDonald's Big Macs.  I had one about a year ago and thought "Wait! Is it me, or is this is so much smaller than it used to be?" 

Now I'm very sad. It was a classic sandwich. I fondly remember the inspiration: Big Boy's double burgers. There are no more of those nostalgic restaurants in our state. How very sad.

I'm craving one now. It's been years since I had a Big Mac. I've had BK's Whoppers, and they are okay, but nothing like pictured on commercials.

have they changed? maybe.....maybe even a few times.

i still enjoy them AND i recently had the chicken big mac and it was quite yummy!

I have no idea!! Can truthfully say I have never eaten a Big Mac ever nor have I eaten much McDonalds at anytime--think maybe when my kids were little we would go but after that time was over--I never ate any. I just am not a fast food person--never have been.
