Has Anyone Used Boiled Apple Cider in Your Baking?

i have used apple cider in baking though......as is.

I have. Boiled cider is so good. It's great in a bowl of oatmeal too.. I have purchased it from KA and also have made my own.

Recipe:

I gallon of Apple Cider, I like Winesap apple cider.

Put in a heavy pot and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer the cider for about 4-5 hours. Stir frequently, especially the last hour.

It will reduce to yield about two to four cups of cider. It should stick to the back if a spoon like syrup. Put in a glass bottle or jar and store in the fridge.

I looked this up on the King Arthur Flour site. They sell it. They say it is thick like syrup and has a sweet-tart, intense apple flavor.

I have used it in baking and also I put it in oatmeal. I has a very nice apple flavor. It can also be used in apple pies. I order it from KAF website...

Thank you for your input. I ordered it off of the vendor's website & not from KAF.....saved myself $5, just an FYI.
